| This is the Rhine variety par excellence, the ‘apple of the eye’ of Alsatian growers. Late ripening and consistent, it deals well with the coolness of the Alsatian Autumn. This characteristic allows for a longer ripening, meaning it retains a very strong aromatic potential and a delicacy that is typical of our vineyards.
Rich, elegant and racy, it maintains an interesting balance between the elegance and complexity of its bouquet and the finesse of a relatively pronounced acidity.
Fresh and exuberant, with floral and fruity notes in its youth, Riesling grows in complexity as it ages and gently moves towards mineral, sometimes even empyreumatic (roasted) notes.
Riesling is the perfect partner for fish and seafood. Its strength can cope with Asiatic cuisine and in time, it will go very well with truffle-based dishes. It is also inseparable from our traditional dish of choucroute, and will happily accompany roast poultry or poultry served with a sauce.
